Members of the public are advised that the Electronic Vehicle Registration (EVR) Centre at the Oistins Carpark in Christ Church has closed early today.
This is due to smoke from a nearby fire, which is affecting both staff and customers.
The Barbados Licensing Authority (BLA) says the Oistins EVR Centre will reopen tomorrow Saturday, February 18 at 8.30 a.m.
Meanwhile, the EVR centre in the carpark of the National Cultural Foundation (NCF) West Terrace, St. James, remains open today Friday, February 17, until 4.00 p.m.
The BLA has apologised for the inconvenience caused, noting the situation is out of its control.
