The first few weeks of this school term in the online environment have been going well.
That’s according to Chief Education Officer Dr. Ramona Archer-Bradshaw, who says despite there being some students without devices and experiencing connectivity issues, the Ministry of Education is making every effort to ensure no child is left behind.
In order for children to return to face-to-face classes, elements like vaccination rates of teachers and students, physical distancing measures within classrooms and the general COVID situation on island must be taken into consideration.
Dr. Archer-Bradshaw says once this road map is completed, a return to the classroom setting may come sooner than expected.
