Police are carrying out investigations into a shooting incident which occurred around 12:30 am today, Wednesday 24 August 2022.
The Barbados Police Service said in a press release that they received a report that the victim was sitting on the step of his home at 2nd Ave, Goodland, St. Michael, when an unknown assailant discharged several shots in his direction. Those shots struck him in the area of his lower body.
He was taken away from the scene in a private motor vehicle for medical attention.
Investigations are continuing and anyone who can provide any information on this matter is asked to call the Black Rock Police Station at 417-7500 or 7501, Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1800-TIPS (8477) or the nearest Police Station.
Police added that “all information received will be strictly confidential”.
