Christmas came a bit early for more than 144 members of the Barbados Police Service.
This morning during a promotion ceremony at the Prince Cave Hall, Station Hill, St. Michael, officers of various ranks received their letters of appointments, officially cementing them in their posts.
While congratulating the newly appointed, Commissioner of Police Richard Boyce reminded them to maintain the high standards associated with the service and be confident in their ability to execute their duties.
Commissioner Boyce also had a word for those who were in acting capacities for extended periods of time.
