The Alliance Owners of Public Transport (AOPT) is happy with the government’s decision to allow public service vehicles to revert to full capacity.
For several months under various Directives, ridership had been restricted to 75 per cent at times or under to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
Reacting to the news AOPT’s Communications Information and Marketing Officer, Mark Haynes, says his members are delighted with the move.
His comments came during an interview with CBC News.
Going forward Mr Haynes adds that Public Service Vehicle (PSV) operators will still be enforcing the COVID-19 protocols as safety is paramount.
