The Lester Vaughn School has stepped in to assist its fourth and fifth formers as they prepare for the transition from secondary school.
The Guidance Department, in a bid to expose them to the range of tertiary institutions hosted a tertiary education fair with representatives from several institutions, including the Barbados Community College, the University of the West Indies, the Barbados Youth Advance Corps and the Samuel Jackman Institute of Technology taking part.
Florida Scholarship University and Exploration Tour personnel were also in attendance.
Guidance Counsellor, Rosalin Gibson says through the engagements students will learn about the requirements for entry and course offerings.
She says it has been welcomed by all.
Fifth former, Amelia Powlett says the interaction was a learning one.
