The Barbados Police Service identified the two young men whose bodies were discovered at Long Beach, Christ Church this morning.
They are 22-year-old Loris Malik Rasheed Gittens, of 10B Bottom Close, Wildey, St. Michael, and 27-year-old Michael Keenan Blackett, Blk. 2 C Flat Rock, St. George.
The two men were identified by family members.
Police Public Affairs and Communications Officer Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss, provided the following information:
As a result of the several queries from both media personnel and the public; we wish to confirm that Michael Blackett was on Bail having been charged for three (3) separate murders and Loris Gittens was known for acts of violence.
