President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach was on hand at the Barbados Olympic Association this evening, for the historic unveiling of a billboard plaque in honour of Commonwealth Games Gold medallist Sada Williams.
Bach, who was also touring the entire Wildey sporting facility and meeting with several of the island’s young athletes and administrators, unveiled the billboard along with Williams and announced a scholarship for the young Olympian to assist her in her future goals.
Williams was humbled at the honour.
