As the Government’s temporary price support on feed prices is ending, the cost of animal feeds will be adjusted from December 1st.
In a statement, Director of Pinnacle Feeds, Jason Sambrano, thanked Government for its intervention to support the livestock industry.
He says since then, there has been a reduction in grain pricing on the world market and the adjustment required at this time is lower than what was required back in September.
As such, the cost of feed will rise by an average 3.7%, compared to an 8.9% rise previously supported through the Government’s intervention.
