There has been a temporary relaxing of the island’s curfew restriction for election night, January 19th.
This announcement from Attorney General Dale Marshall following news that the Government-enforced Directive was expected to end tonight.
According to Mr. Marshall, the new Directive will continue from tonight until January 31st with election night the only exception.
He says on that night there will no curfew in place, to ensure a smooth and unrushed process for the carrying out of affairs surrounding the general election.
