Minister of Housing Dwight Sutherland says the Government is taking its first steps this month to make sure conveying land in Barbados becomes easier.
Speaking at the launch of phase two of the Harmony Estates, Mr. Sutherland said Government will hold a meeting with key stakeholders to chart a path that makes things seamless for Barbadians to own land.
Mr. Sutherland also says that the Government plans to build 4000 houses in 2 years and making the process easier is an asset.
He has promised that in three months they will have a solution to the long process in acquiring land.
