Work on Phase 3 of the Constitution River Project is well underway.
The project, funded by the Caribbean Development Bank, executed by the Barbados Tourism Investment Incorporated and C. O. Williams Construction, aims to eradicate water borne vectors, improve the water quality (as there will be exchange and dilution of any existing pollutants by the volume of sea water inflows), beautify the river banks and environs and reduce flooding in the Halls Road and Ellis Village areas.
When CBC News visited the site, Project Manager Steven Miller provided an update on work being done.
