The Queen Elizabeth Hospital stands to benefit from a generous donation made by the Barbados Haemophilia Association and Charity.
During a presentation, the Hospital’s Haematology Department was gifted six ergonomic chairs and a scale which will assist in the comfort of staff and patients.
Minister of State in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Sonia Browne says the donation is greatly appreciated and encourages the public to give back to the Hospital in any way possible.
Meanwhile, Co-Founder and President of the Association, Erica Worrell says the gesture is simply her way of showing gratitude for the wonderful care her son received as a patient of the Haematology Clinic.
