The National United Society of the Blind is fielding a Barbados team for this weekend’s Goalball competition in Trinidad and Tobago.
The action gets going today with the hosts, Barbados and the USA bidding to win the tournament.
Chairperson of the Sports Committee for the National United Society of the Blind, Pedro Belgrave, explains aspects of the sport, which was introduced in Barbados in 2011.
He says they are well prepared for the challenge ahead.
