The organisers of this year’s Oistins Festival aren’t compromising on the safety of patrons as they prepare to host a “toned down, simplified” festival this Easter weekend.
Chair of the Festival Committee, Toni Thorne says fisherfolk and vendors have been asking for its return and they are mindful of the impact it has had on the fishing town and Barbados.
Ms. Thorne was a guest on CBC TV8s Mornin’ Barbados.
The Oistins Festival will be held from April 15th to 18th under the theme, ‘Simply Oistins’.
