Tourism officials continue to take advantage of international travel trade shows to market destination Barbados.
A local delegation, led by Minister of Tourism and International Transport Ian Gooding-Edghill, is participating in the Arabian Travel Market which closes today in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
Barbados is participating for a second time at the event, which now facilitates 2.5 billion dollars in industry deals, and attracts thousands of exhibitors and travel trade visitors from around the world.
The BTMI says its presence at the travel market is a part of the island’s commitment to tourism growth.
