The rehabilitation programme at Dodds Prison has received a boost, thanks to a donation valued at over $2000 from the Kiwanis Club of Barbados North.
Representatives from the Club, led by President Eric Smith, presented the items, consisting of televisions compliments of Courts Barbados Limited and DVD players and discs funded by members, to prison officials.
He explains the initiative is in line with the Club’s goal of assisting others.
While accepting the items on behalf of the Prison, Assistant Chief Officer Anthony Holder explained how the devices will be used.
