Tourism stakeholders prepare for lack of cruises this summer

There has been a lot of talk about the fall off in the summer cruise season, but this is nothing new to the country, as Barbados is not traditionally a popular summer destination.

While the reduced income stream will impact players in the tourism industry, many of them have come up with contingencies to see them through the six months until cruising returns in October/November.

Wendy Burke has been making the rounds to some of the tourism players, and tells us how most plan to ride it out.
