There has been a lot of talk about the fall off in the summer cruise season, but this is nothing new to the country, as Barbados is not traditionally a popular summer destination.
While the reduced income stream will impact players in the tourism industry, many of them have come up with contingencies to see them through the six months until cruising returns in October/November.
