The Barbados Police Service is investigating a shooting incident which occurred at Haynesville, St James around 8:20 pm on Thursday.
Public Affairs and Communications Officer with the Service, Inspector Rodney Inniss, tells CBC News police were patrolling the community when they heard three loud explosions. They immediately called for assistance.
Reports indicate police met two men who were shooting at each other. Those men subsequently ran away.
There were no reports of injuries or damage.
