The National Housing Corporation is moving to help Barbadians who are still eager to own “a piece of the rock” by holding a mortgage fair this weekend.
It takes place at the Golden Square Freedom Park this Saturday.
General Manager of the NHC Ian Gill says the event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Mr. Gill says a variety of homes are expected to be on display.
He says those earning under $2,000 monthly will be able to qualify for the HOPE Advance project under the umbrella of NHC, which will include homes from the Guyanese Duravilla and East/West Corporation projects.
The HOPE Direct project, which caters to salaries in the scale of $2,000 to $4,000, will also feature homes currently under construction at Lancaster, St. James.
