In Monday’s regional Super50 Cup tournament the Windward Islands Volcanoes registered a 29-run win over the Guyana Harpy Eagles at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad.
Led by Alick Athanze’s 133 and a run-a-ball 64 from opener Johnson Charles, the Windwards posted an impressive 296 for four in their 50 overs.
For the Guyanese, Tagnarine Chanderpaul top scored with 48 in their total of 268 all out in 46.4 overs.
