Forty-two Barbadians are the newest members of the Barbados Defence Force (BDF).
They successfully completed recruitment and training in a range of areas over the past four months and officially completed the transition at St Ann’s Fort, The Garrison, St. Michael during the BDF’s passing out parade on Saturday.
While praising them for their impressive display and sharpness, Minister of Home Affairs, Information and Public Affairs, Wilfred Abrahams underscored the importance of their roles.
Military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Lieutenant Colonel Carlos Lovell, welcomed them into the military and encouraged them to always strive for excellence.
