A new fuel efficient vehicle to be used by the public service vehicle sector could soon be produced right here in Barbados.
On Friday, top officials of the Alliance Owners of Public Transport toured L&N Workshop in Kendal Hill.
Chairman of the AOPT Roy Raphael says discussions have begun to consider starting a pilot project to produce a new compressed natural gas vehicle to service commuters.
Meanwhile, Managing Director of L&N Workshop Norman Edwards says they have been building buses for over 22 years and they are happy to come on board.
