Police and fire officials are on the scene at Jericho, St. George, where missing man Lionel McDonald Gadsby has been found alive.
The 73-year-old of Workmans, St. George left home at about 6 am on Thursday, December 23, 2022 and had not been seen since.
CBC News spoke to Gadsby’s neighbours on Christmas Day as they carried out a search for the elderly man.

Relief as elderly man is found alive
Relief tonight as an elderly man is found alive four days after he went missing.
Lionel Gadsby was found a few hours ago in a bushy, cow itch-infested area of Jericho, St. George by police, who along with fire officials rescued him from his ordeal.
Several searches had been conducted for Mr Gadsby since the alarm was raised that he was missing last Friday, December 23.
Our cameraman Christopher Wood was on the scene and spoke with David Wood, a member of today’s search party.
Fire officers under the command of Wayne Vaughan responded to the call from the Barbados Police Service when Mr Gadsby was found.
Mr Gadsby was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
