BARJAM, the Barbados Association of Journalists & Media Workers is worried about the number of younger journalists leaving the profession.
President Ryan Broome notes reasons given for some of those departures include mental health concerns.
Mr. Broome made the remarks as BARJAM joins colleagues around the world to celebrate World Press Freedom Day.
