The local transfer market is very active as the 2023 Premier League Football season draws closer.

The Women’s League and Men’s Premier League will kick-off on January 22 for the first time in over two years since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The defending men’s champion is Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme, while The University of the West Indies (UWI) Blackbirds are the reigning queens.
The transfer window opened on January 1 and will close on January 21.
All Premier League matches are expected to played on the newly laid artificial turf in Wildey, St Michael.
