Government is still very hopeful of getting qualified members of the faith-based community to assist in providing critical professional counselling services for the island’s school children.
That’s according to Minister of Labour, Social Partnership Relations and the Third Sector, Colin Jordan, who made the comment as he addressed a faith-based organisations consultation at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, Two Mile Hill in St. Michael today.
He was speaking in his capacity as Minister with Responsibility for Ecclesiastical Affairs.
In addition, at the consultation, some members of faith-based organisations shared their views on the island’s crime situation.
