The organiser of the island’s biggest agricultural expo, Agrofest has embraced social media this year to not only promote the event but explain what the show is about.
There will be 260 exhibitors along with a contingent from Guyana and the Barbados Agricultural Society says it will be ready to open tomorrow.
Chief Executive Officer, James Paul says there has been tremendous interest from local exhibitors with some late applications coming in.
He says Agrofest is relevant today as it highlights activities associated with agriculture.
