Police are investigating an apparent fatal shooting which claimed the life of a 34 year old man.
Police P.R.O. Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss, says police received a report of a shooting at Risk Road, Fitts Village, St. James around 10:30 this morning.
Lawmen from the Holetown Police Station responded and found several onlookers on site.
Shortly after, personnel from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital informed police that a man had been brought to the hospital in a private vehicle, with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead on arrival.
Acting Inspector Inniss says police investigations so far seem to suggest the two reports are connected.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
