The Ministry of Labour is continuing efforts to secure jobs overseas for Barbadians.
Over the course of the last few days, 32 people were interviewed for 20 positions available in the United States.
Speaking to the media on the sidelines of one of those sessions, Chief Operations Officer of Specialty Crop Farm Labour Contractors, Luis Carcamo provided details of the vacancies.
This is the company’s first time recruiting Barbadians and he explains eight will be in New York while 12 will be based in West Virginia.
The successful candidates are set to begin their employment stints early next year and Mr. Carcamo says the jobs can lead to endless possibilities.
