Prime Minister Mia Mottley is to sign the Declaration of Mission Barbados document tomorrow when she joins members of the Social Partnership as part of a May Day celebrations at the National Botanical Gardens at Waterford.
Officials say while the signing ceremony will begin at 2 p.m., an event organised by the Barbados Workers Union and supported by the Social Partnership will get underway as early as noon. Prime Minister Mottley will deliver the feature address.
During the ceremony there will be additional addresses by the Minister of Labour, Social Security and the Third Sector, Colin Jordan; President of the Barbados Private Sector Association, Trisha Tannis; President of the National Union of Public Workers, Kimberley Agard; President of the Barbados Secondary Teachers Union, Mary-Anne Redman; and General Secretary of the BWU, Toni Moore.
