Householders to receive fire safety equipment

Communications and public relations company, Haigh Communications is partnering with the Barbados Fire Service and Ace H&B Hardware to protect Barbadian householders, particularly the elderly.

The Barbados Fire Service has been impressing on the importance of fire safety and on homeowners taking steps to protect life and property.

Barbadians have been encouraged to install smoke alarms in their homes as they are life saving devices.

Chief Executive Officer of Haigh Communications, Joy-Ann Haigh was able to procure 50 smoke alarms and other equipment, including fire blankets which will be donated to a number of householders.

Store Manager at H&B Hardware Six Roads, Al Roach says they saw it as a worthy initiative to get involved in.
