Man charged with murder

Police have made a breakthrough in their investigations into the shooting death of Jamal Clarke on May 2, 2023.

30-year-old Dario Orlando Taitt of Silver Sands, Christ Church has been arrested and formally charged with his murder, and is expected to appear in the District ‘A’ Magistrate’s Court today.

Clarke, who was also 30-years-old and from Silver Sands, was shot around 8:20 on the morning of May 2, while along the roadway in the area.

He was transported to the QEH in a private vehicle, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
