The Barbados Police Service has identified the motorcyclist who lost his life in a collision at Bank Hall Cross Road, St. Michael, last evening.
He is 30-year-old Omar Antonio Greenidge 30 yrs of Bank Hall, St. Michael.
Police said the accident occurred around 7:48 p.m. on May 13, 2023, involving motor car MH180 owned and driven by 61-year-old Steve Marquimston Pond, of Brandon, St. Michael and motorcycle X 8586 driven by Omar Greenidge.
They provided further details about the incident in a press release:
Both vehicles were travelling along Bank Hall Cross Road when they met and collided. Both drivers received injuries.
“The driver of the motorcycle Omar Greenidge died at the scene, a medical doctor pronounced.
