The Barbados Union of Teachers wants the Ministry of Education to find a solution to the ongoing environmental issues at the St. John’s Primary school.
President Rudy Lovell, reiterated his call as a number of teachers at the institution were unable to report for duty today because of illness.
While unable to give the full number of teachers who were out, CBC understands the institution was short-staffed.
CBC also tried to reach education officials for a comment but those attempts proved futile.
