There have been no tsunami watches or warnings issued for Barbados.
That was made clear by the Barbados Meteorological Services after the “Tusanmi Advisory” issued early caused some concern.
The Met Office posted the following statement on the matter on its Instagram page.
“THERE ARE NO TSUNAMI WATCHES OR WARNINGS ISSUED FOR BARBADOS!!
“The statement was issued for INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY, as there were a series of earthquakes that occurred to the DISTANT North of Barbados.
