The Barbados Meteorological Services (BMS) has discontinued the Flash Flood Watch effective immediately.
A tropical wave is currently affecting the island and is forecast to bring some light shower activity over the next few hours. However, rainfall accumulations are not expected to be sufficient for flash flooding to occur within the next 6 hours.
It should be noted that moderate rainfall activity is forecast to resume after midnight, and therefore it remains possible that a flash-flood watch/warning could be issued at short notice.
