Sada Williams is in the finals of the Women’s 400 Metres at the World Athletics Championship in Budapest, Hungary.
The 2022 World Championships bronze medallist finished second in the third and final semifinal, to set a new National Record in a time of 49.58 seconds.
That saw Williams finish behind Natalia Kaczmarek of Poland. Her time was 49.50 seconds. Meanwhile, Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic also had a fast finish, with a time of 49.54 seconds.
She will go for the gold on Wednesday, August 23.
