Barbados has engaged in several bilateral meetings, taking advantage of its participation at the just concluded Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference, ADIPEC in the United Arab Emirates.
The island was the lone Caribbean country at the event the world’s largest energy exhibition and conference, featuring over two thousand exhibiting companies and 30 country pavilions.
Minister of Energy and Business Development Senator Lisa Cummins, revealed Barbados not only engaged with the UAE but companies in the energy industry, including offshore wind.
Senator Cummins says the opening of the Barbados Embassy in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates in 2022, would contribute to developing joint cooperation relations across various sectors.
