Better education for citizens

Bringing Barbados’ education system to world standard for all involved will require key partnerships.

That’s according to Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley.

She delivered the feature address at the launch of the Ministry of Education Technological and Vocational Training‘s Transformation Proposals.

She spoke to some of the links already established such as one between Erdiston Teacher’s Training College and an Ivy League institution.

Referring to a recent conversation with members of the diaspora at St. Francis College New York, she made the point many felt as though they left the island without having a fair enough chance in the education system.
