A clarion call was made for Barbadians in the diaspora to unite.
It came during a service of thanksgiving at the St. James Cathedral in Toronto to celebrate Barbados’ 57th anniversary of independence and second year as a republic.
Consul General to Toronto Sonia Carter-Marville, encouraged Barbadians in Canada to reflect on the theme, ‘Uniting the Diaspora to Build a Better Tomorrow and the Part They Can Play’.
Preacher Reverend Junior Spooner, a Barbadian, says an all-hands approach is required in the quest to provide a future for tomorrow’s children.
