ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, CMC – Police are investigating the death of a visiting United Nations official, whose body was discovered in his room at Jolly Beach Resort on Tuesday night.
The authorities have not yet identified the UN official, but the state-owned Antigua and Barbuda Broadcasting Services (ABS), said he was part of a UN team assisting in preparations for the fourth Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS4) to be held here from May 27-30.
The conference is expected to attract thousands of delegates, including heads of State and Government.
