A container engulfed by fire in the densely populated Deacons, St. Michael area prompted a swift response from emergency officials yesterday afternoon.
The blaze occurred at First Avenue, Farm Road.
Fire officials, who were on the scene along with police, said they received the call just after 2:30 pm and responded with one tender and four officers, led by Station Officer Angela Reveira.
She told CBC News the container was owned by Taariq Boodhoo and explained what they encountered on arrival.
