Barbados is an open door for Panama to the Caribbean for trade and education.
That’s according to Panama’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Her Excellency Janaina Tewaney Mencomo as she delivered remarks at the establishment of the Panama Embassy in Barbados.
She told the gathering at the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies, the initiative will create new frontiers for the people of both countries.
Pro Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the Cave Hill Campus, Professor Clive Landis called it a momentous occasion given the historic ties that exist between Barbados and Panama.
