Barbados has come in for high praise from the Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club, the governing body of that sport.
After a recent visit to the island to meet with the newly elected executive of the Barbados Golf Association and Minister of Sport Charles Griffith, Mark Lawrie says there are a lot of positives to be taken from the visit.
Given what he has seen, doors can be opened for Barbados to host a major tournament in the very near future.
