Barbadians are being advised to practise what a specialist is calling cyber hygiene to protect themselves from hackers.
President of Information Systems Security Association Barbados Chapter, Anthony Harris, explains it involves new strategies at an individual level in an online world that’s not safe.
He was a panellist at a Central Bank of Barbados-sponsored forum on Managing Cyber Risk in Barbados’ Financial Sector.
Mr. Harris says the COVID pandemic has dragged populations across the world online, a move which has strengthened the hands of hackers.
