In recognition of Barbados’ increasing level of COVID-19 vaccination and consistent march towards herd immunity, Government has reduced the curfew hours.
The 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. curfew currently in place, will from Monday start from midnight instead.
This announcement was made by Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley during a media conference this afternoon.
The Prime Minister says the new curfew hours will be in place for four weeks.
She also thanked Barbadians for responding to the call to be vaccinated and encouraged those who have not as yet, to get the vaccine.
