Local cricket has yet again been brought to a halt, as the Barbados Cricket Association has cancelled all remaining matches in the 2021 edition of the Barbados Cricket Legends Cup 3-day Tournament.
Following the first series of matches which were contested at the Carlton and Weymouth Cricket Grounds, CBC Sports understands that a number of positive COVID cases were discovered.
BCA’s Manager of Marketing and Communications, Steven Leslie, says the decision to cancel was not an easy one to make.
