A new coalition party has been formed in Barbados, ahead of the January 19th general elections.
The opposition People’s Party for Democracy and Development (PDP) and the United Progressive Party (UPP) have come together to form the Alliance Party for Progress.
The development was revealed this morning at a press conference called by Opposition Leader Bishop Joseph Atherley.
Bishop Atherley heads up the new party with Lynette Eastmond his deputy.
